A letter from the executive director
Most years the words of wisdom I strive to convey about the Foundation come easily. For some reason, this year my message has proven more of a challenge. I have had potential great “ED Letter Ideas”, none of which the pen allowed me to bring to culmination on paper.
So here goes my final attempt: There are years life has more challenges, more joys, more struggles, or lack of direction. Personally, this year for me has involved several of those things. This in turn reminds me of what a vital role the Foundation serves to those “most in need” of medical assistance in our community. When there are unmet needs, challenges, not knowing where to turn, it is St. Joseph’s Community Foundation that steps in to fill those gaps and provide answers.
St. Joseph’s list of accomplishments continues to exceed expectations. As of 2024 more than $2.6 million has been put back into our community in the form of Community & Educational Grants. The Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word started the Foundation, and I cannot help but think we make them proud.
May your challenges, struggles, joys, uncertainties, misdirection find their path to fruition. It continues to be an honor to serve as the Executive Director.
